Ons het klaar besluit ons wil vroeg vlg jaar, so Februarie, die hele huis huur en dan kan my dogter van Pta met hulle 2 kleingoed en my pa van Montagu ook kom en ons kan dan ‘n lekker familie naweek he. Mens hoef ook nie ‘n “Groot Trek” aan te pak om met die kleingoed op die sand te gaan speel nie.”

“Eenmaal ‘n jaar is Heroldsbaai ‘n moet, dit is soos n verslawing en al waar ons batterye herlaai kan word. Ons hoef nerens heen te ry nie, want die see is op ons voorstoep! Ons word wakker met die branders in ons ore en geniet ‘n heerlike ontbyt buite, amper op die strand. Die lekkerste is vanaand se vuurtjie met die branders hier voor ons, terwyl die kinders draaie hardloop op die strand. Wat meer kan mens voor vra, julle moet die huis se naam verander na hemel op aarde. Dankie vir die lekkerste vakansies al van 1986 af.”

“We stayed during a quiet time and loved every minute of it. The fact that the property is situated at the far end of the beach means that you have a lot of privacy. The house lends itself to lazing around and enjoying the unbelievable views. You are right on the beach with nothing to obstruct the views. Herolds Bay is a mere 5 hour drive from Cape Town and is ideally placed to do day trips up and down this stunning coast line. Herolds Bay is a undiscovered jewel. The caretaker Hermione keeps the place spotless and very friendly and helpfull. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely holiday home and we have spread the good word far and wide.
